This project involved the installation of five client-supplied electric vehicle chargers on Basement Level 1, with each unit connected back to the existing basement switchboard. New RCD protection was installed within lockable, weatherproof four-pole enclosures at the charger locations, along with an IP66-rated enclosure near the switchboard. The works also included the installation of wheel stops and protective bollards, rerouting the data cable for Charger 1 to a new Ethernet switch, and supplying and installing six new data cables between the switch and the charger locations to provide reliable network connectivity across the charging system.
This commercial EV charger installation delivered a complete charging solution for a basement car park, including five client-supplied chargers connected to the existing switchboard. The project also included new RCD protection, weatherproof enclosures, Ethernet data cabling, wheel stops and protective bollards to create a safe, reliable and connected electric vehicle charging system.
